National Disability Insurance Scheme
Who is Eligible?
Your eligibility for access to the NDIS will be assessed by the National Disability Insurance Agency.

You are eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) if you:
  • are under 65 years of age, and
  • are an Australian citizen or resident or permanent visa holder, and
  • meet the disability or early intervention requirements.

How many sessions can I access?
This will depend on your needs. You will have a planning meeting to help establish your needs and will be allocated a number of hours or a dollar amount to spend on Occupational Therapy by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

How much will I receive?
Within the budget allocated by the NDIA, 100% of the fee is covered so there is no gap to pay.
SPOT is a registered NDIS provider, this means we can claim directly from the NDIA, so you wont need to worry about paying for therapy and claiming it back.

How do I access this funding?
You will need to contact the National Disability Insurance Agency to register for a plan.
Once you have a plan in place, a service agreement in signed and services can begin.
